'Pioneer' is the cornerstone to my herd. He arrived on a very cold, rainy day during the "stinky" season -- hence my first experience with a buck and their smell during breeding season! He was an absolute sweetheart and quite the gentleman however, so he immediately won my heart. 'Pioneer' passes on wonderful mammary systems to his kids - their udders have been high in the rear, with very good attachments and well extended fore udders, good sized teats and large orifices. I am also very pleased with his overall confirmation. He has great rear angulation, plenty of depth in his heart girth; wide, flat and wide ribbing and a nice topline, all of which he consistently passes onto his offspring. 'Pioneer' has proven his worth over the past few years -- he has given me 85% does! I couldn't ask for a better ratio! See Pioneer's Daughters

Durango is the combination of some very good bloodlines, being Justy and Pioneer's grandson. Confirmationally, he is near perfect - he has very sharp shoulders with exceptional wide, flat ribbing. His front end assembly is awesome, well blended with straight legs and tight toes. Nice loose skin. His sire's genetics are present in his depth, width and angulation.  A really awesome looking buck!

Durango took Grand Champion Buck and BEST OF SHOW at Elkhorn, WI as a 2 year old! (2007)!
